Desperate Housewives - Marry Me A Little

Hmmm - what a suspect name for an episode from Wisteria Lane. Marry Me a Little… This week was all about marriage's up and downs. Susan can't get to the altar quick enough for her sham marriage. Bree wants out of her unhappy marriage. Tom and Lynette are feeling the effects that ageing has had on their marriage and Katherine is trying to hoodwink Mike into marrying her for all the wrong reasons. Gaby and Carlos seem to be the only ones not losing the run of themselves this week.

Bree the Kleptomaniac!
So even straight-living, perfect Bree can be convinced to walk on the wild side every once in a while and Carl is the man to bring out the worst in people for sure. You'd argue that Bree was just giving Orson a taste of his own medicine, and no more than he deserved, but it all seemed a bit hypocritical when she ransacked her own house in the dead of the night. And of course she got caught. It would be no fun if she didn't. But what now? Will Orson play dirty? He has the upper hand now. He knows what Bree is up to and she hasn't got a clue that he's rumbled her plan. I can't see Orson walking away from this. Also, is there a bit of chemistry between Bree and Carl? How entertaining would it be if they had a secret affair? It might be just what we need to liven the show up a bit. (Loved the opening scenes - very film noir with Bree as the perfect femme fatale).

Wake up Susan
So Susan is marrying Jackson in order to keep him from deportation. Mike is marrying Katherine… because she says so, and mainly because he's cross that Susan is moving on. Yeah, he still loves her, course he does. So what are they going to do about it? (Other than drag it out over several episodes that is!) I would love to see Mike getting back with Susan. They're perfect together. He balances her scattiness. With Katherine it all seems a bit odd. She's a good character but she's a bit too perfect wifey for Mike I think.

Dodgy Dave… again
Gosh, I'm so over the whole dangerous Dave thing - him sneaking around like the most suspicious character ever and yet nobody actually noticing how odd he is at all. Come on people! I'm a bit concerned for little MJ (possibly the cutest kid on television) - how far will Dave go to get his way? Getting Jackson deported is one thing but he must still want revenge on Susan and Mike.

And another thing…
• I love how Gaby calls her child Bobblehead, brilliant!
• Where are Lee and Bob these days? I miss them.
• Brilliant make-up on Tom - he looks really worn these days.
