Big Brother - Cairon has left the building

Cairon looking unhappy post eviction For me Cairon’s departure on Friday was the right result. I get how Freddie can be irritating but the house would be a dull place without him (Who else would have put on a top coat and hat to speak to themselves in the mirror?!). How funny that people acted surprised that Freddie wasn’t evicted and then couldn’t remember Cairon’s name in the diary room (yes, Sophie, you’re the prime offender). But I must say Cairon did not look pleased during Big Brother’s Big Mouth after his eviction and he didn’t seem to feel the need to hide it either. Also, it’s cool that Freddie is still in the house for his birthday because his wishlist is priceless. He seems to have missed the whole point of the show. It’s great.

Poor Noirín

My heart went out to Noirín at the beginning of the show last night. She was trying so hard to keep her cool and be polite to Sree but how hard must that be at this stage. Why is he still following her around and making her talk to him against her wishes? I can’t believe that he hasn’t picked up on the hints yet. So when she finally stood up to him and told him what was what then I wanted to applaud her. But I don’t know how she held it together when he was blatantly laughing in her face or when he tried to haul her onto his lap... and then trying to kiss her in the bedroom. Enough is enough. Will Marcus continue trying to save the day?

Love and Bromances

A bromance with KrisSo it’s all about the love this year and you’d have to wonder if everyone in there will be loved up before the end of the series. It’s hard to keep up. Sophie likes Kris but she’s a bit worried that his bromance with Charlie might be grabbing the headlines. Meanwhile, Charlie has puckered up to Angel but everyone else reckons that Freddie secretly fancies Charlie. And Sree can’t take his eyes (or his hands) off Noirín. But he’s got some competition from Marcus... do you think poor Noirín might be regretting saying that men can’t fall in love with her in her audition video tape? What next? Maybe a little bit of subtle flirting between Lisa and Freddie?!

The Dares

I watched the housemates kicking off their game of Dares last night and thought ‘yeah, this could liven up the episode a bit’ but in the end the whole game became a little disturbing. Is it just me or is it weird that two people would spend most of their day screaming at each other and then be fine about sucking each other’s nipples and such like? But I have to say I liked how the game brought Rodrigo to life, challenging Sree for bowing out of the dares. I think that the game was just what Rodrigo needed because he’s been a bit quiet of late.

Quote of the night: Today my quote of the episode award must again go to Sree for his diary room statement: ‘I’m not that kind of silly, stupid brain.’

Comments:

I really don't know how Noirin hasn't lost it with Sree...he talks such rubbish about having respect for his close friends...blah dee blah blah!! He called her dumb and thick!! I think I probably would've slapped him by now if he'd kept trying to hug/kiss me....ugh!! Saying he's acting like a child is an insult to any kid I know!! And as for his 'I'm only joking...' nonsense...AAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!

I think shree is used to the whole culture of women not being able to speak for themselves and doing everything the man tells them. He seems to be very ignorant to Western Culture but expects everyone to respect his culture. Only a matter of time before he goes out and the awkwardness of watching him can stop!!
