Britain's Got Talent - Semi Final Five

It was a night of surprises as the judges got a little bit soft, there were tears on stage and one of the competition's most promising acts went home.

The talking point
Hollie broke down on stage.Well I suppose everyone was talking about little Hollie. Should the judges have let her sing again? Was that fair on the other contestants or should special rules apply because she's only a child? I don't know. But if everyone is playing by the same rules then maybe poor Greg Pritchard should have got a second run at it too because of his cape malfunction!

The one that got away...
Loved his earlier performance. For me, the one that got away this series was Greg Pritchard. He showed so much promise in his audition... In fact I'd even say he was one of my favourites (up there with Stavros Flatley, Diversity and Aidan Davis). But it all seemed to go wrong for him on Friday night. The cape took him over, as well as the stage. His vocals seemed shaky and I'm not completely sure about his decision to, well do a duet with himself, for want of a better phrase. His initial charm was in his uniqueness - the whole dog meowing, cat barking thing. He looked a certain way, he performed a certain way - it just worked, which is why I was gutted that he didn't make it through to the final to give it one more shot.

Aidan, the little superstar
Aidan was so impressive. How adorable is little Aidan Davis on stage? His moves are slick, he spends all his time giggling and he just has a charm that you can't teach. The fact that he is self-taught makes his act even more impressive. You can tell he has really thought about the choreography and tried hard to come up with something original and that he did. Loved his performance. Genius idea with the reflections too.
