Big Brother - The Bea Show Rumbles On
And so the 'Bea Show' is building up to its dramatic conclusion on Friday night! This girl has utterly transformed in the weeks she has been in the house and from her own point of view the sooner she makes her exit the better. Every day she is in there she seems to put another nail in her coffin. Apparently her mother is very proud of her (or so says Big Brother) but the woman must be itching to stage an intervention before Bea does any more damage.
Last night David was the victim of her machinations. He was the only person to give her support over the last week and yet she nominated him and then lied about it to his face. Did we buy her saying to Marcus after the fact that she felt bad about the lie? Absolutely not! It was just more window dressing for the benefit of the audience. I almost feel sorry for the girl and the reaction she is set to get from the public on Friday. The people in her world are just bit players in the drama of Bea’s life and she is about to learn a very hard lesson in the most public way possible. I suppose if you sign up for Big Brother you must be prepared for the consequences.
So what about the rest of the housemates? Charlie, Lisa and David (when I can understand what he is saying) mostly wreck my head. I think Lisa is not the hate figure with the public she once was and while she still likes to mix it up she is behaving better. Rodrigo is grand but less of the amateur dramatics while Marcus somehow seems to have redeemed himself a little from his crazy period. However I have heard more than I ever wanted to about his nocturnal entertainments. Enough already Wolverine!
To my mind there are only two housemates who deserve to win this thing – Sophie and Siavash. Sophie has proved herself a genuine person (despite her weakness for all things Kris). She is there to have fun and has not deliberately upset anyone in the house. A nice girl unfortunately with bad hair!
Siavash continues to be my favourite. He has been quiet lately but I liked what he had to say about Bea last night ahead of his failure to nominate. I’m hoping with Bea’s departure he will emerge more from the background.
