Celebrity Big Brother - The Patience of Saints?

I was wondering how long it would take for Stephen to start annoying some of his housemates and it looks like the answer is three days! People seem to be falling into one of two camps: those hiding in the bedroom and rolling their eyes and those sitting in the lounge participating in a bible reading.

Sov (real name Louise, apparently) and Heidi seem to be the main two who are uncomfortable with Stephen's overt Christianity. On this side of the pond religion is generally a private matter, so his more demonstrative approach is clearly proving too much for some of the other housemates and I imagine this will continue to create problems in the coming weeks.

Stephanie took a different approach to Stephen's daily bible reading and managed to turn it into a theatrical performance. She seems to be coping with the confined surroundings extremely well and is getting on with other housemates (particularly Stephen), although Sov complained that she has yet to have a conversation with her.

However, while the glamorous granny seemed fascinated talking to Heidi about her time in jail when Jonas changed the subject to more personal matters she discretely exited stage left! A bridge too far, I think! Despite Vinnie smirking at Stephanie and Stephen going into the diary room to ask where the washing machine was, it turns out the pair of them had it right and BB had agreed to launder a number of clothes per week per celebrity. It would never happen on the regular show.

I was wondering if Heidi was ever going to get out of that bed yesterday. The house should be a walk in the park for her after spending over three years in a US jail. Her description was pretty grim, saying that despite there being loads of drugs available she had to steer clear as she needed to keep her wits about her in that environment. She is going to be interesting to watch.

Vinnie does seem a little unsure about the house but let's hope he sticks it out. I know exactly how he feels about confined spaces as does probably half the country today. I am having my own BB experience fenced in a snowy Rathfarnham housing estate. I am sooo over snow!!
