Big Brother Blog - Graze Anatomy

Eh, can you come up with something decent for them to do?By rights, the last few days of 'Big Brother' should be the most exciting. If last night's show was anything to go by, it'll be a slow trudge to Friday.

It would've been a big ask to get a decent half-hour out of Sunday's programme - 70 minutes was torture. We got the housemates ordering Chinese and Charlie saying, "We've got £50" so much that you'd think his chances of winning the show depended on it, loads of sitting around (and less interesting than usual), Sophie and Rodrigo tipsy and irritating and a non-task which was the funniest thing of the evening. That, however, wasn't saying much. I'm just sorry that Marcus isn't there for the last few days to liven things up and I'm still shocked that he went on Friday.

GizmoFor me, Siavash blew his showman credentials weeks back at the time of the Noirín fiasco and with Freddie now back in the family pile, Marcus was the most entertaining of the lot of them - granted part of it was because he took himself so seriously, but there was always the expectation of what would emerge from his little Gizmo from 'Gremlins' face next. What Marcus would've brought to the last few days was a sense of perspective: that the housemates are, in fact, competing on a gameshow.

MarcusThere's a huge amount of sentimentality in there now; Marcus would've had no time for that and probably caused a few arguments about it. We can expect plenty more 'next week we'll be...' talk and people getting all dewy-eyed about their relationships with each other. I wonder has the blubbering got anything do with the fact that they think the prize money has been 'slashed' and would they have their game faces on more if it hadn't?

Of course the winner will still get the full amount because surely there's something in the contract each of them signed with the makers of the show about the prize money? Why haven't they copped this?! Then again, some of you might say that after seeing them with the Pass-Fail meter last night, you're not surprised.

Well, it's officially over. The "task" definitely demonstrated the lack of cop on in the group. To be honest the only person that I could tolerate winning is Siavash as the rest are either too irritating (Charlie - the too faced, David - the Yorkshire pudding, Lisa - the scarey) or too bland (Rodrigo - may I Big Brother?, Sophie - quickly going bald). If BB doesn't spice this up and quickly, then it'll be more of a damp squib than a finale on Friday.

god last night was an effort to watch, i'm a bb fan but really this series is limping to the finish line at this stage. Does anyone really care who wins at this stage - no one in the house has really shone as a deserving winner

FP: If going bald the only thing Sophie has done wrong, then there's your winner IMHO. I'd be going bald myself if I was in there too. Siavash (who used to be my favourite) has spoiled his chances with his attempts to be seen as caring and all of that self-aware nominations talk and charity donation stuff.

Also Harry. The contract always says that the prize fund is subject to change.

Nobody deserves to win this lame edition of BB. I hear this is the 2nd last series it has been the worst BB since the show began. I dont know where they got the contestents this year but they are all so boring.
