Amy Winehouse has been enlisted by clothing brand Fred Perry to design a collection inspired by her style.
The Vogue website reports that the range will debut in Fred Perry shops in October 2010, and will feature pieces inspired by Winehouse's signature look, including pencil skirts, capri pants and mini dresses.
Fred Perry's marketing director, Richard Martin, said of the collaboration: "Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand. Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand's own historical reference points."
Martin also said to WWD: "We had three major design meetings where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, colour and styling details. Amy gave crucial input on proportion, colour and fit. The range clearly has Amy's handwriting."
