Ebay is the online store I've done the most browsing on, and for most people, it's is the pinnacle of online shopping.

The online auction site has items for sale from people and businesses all over the world, many offering a 'Buy it Now' function for those who can't wait for the auction time to be finished.

If however you aren't feeling impatient, you can pick up great bargains on Ebay and the breadth of choice on is staggering -you'll find anything and everything here - so the main problem is forming an addiction to browsing through the site!

I've spent literally hours looking through pages and pages of vintage dresses, but it's worth it for the payoff when you find a original vintage piece at a bargain bin price.

It's also good for picking up designer clothing and accessories secondhand, although you must be wary of counterfeit items as they are prevalent. There is a guide to spotting fake designer pieces on the Ebay homepage which is worth checking out.

But it doesn't just end at clothes - I've also ordered beauty products, camera equipment and books off Ebay, and so far have been more than happy with the service.

For those looking to unload unwanted belongings, you can also set yourself up as a seller on the site.
