Claudia quits the catwalk

Claudia Schiffer, who has dazzled in many a fashion show over the years, says she will never again be strutting her stuff.

"I'm finished with the runway," the 39-year-old supermodel revealed in a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph newspaper. "I won't miss it. I am still modelling and I enjoy that a lot but no more runways."

Fashion shows are proving more enjoyable for her as a spectator.

"I can sit on the side and view the outfits and see all the detail and that suits me find. It's very enjoyable. I like my new viewpoint."
