This week Marlon and Paddy are keeping their friendship under wraps, Kerry is thrown out by Val and Pollard, while Debbie and Chas are still cold to each other, both adament of their feelings towards Cameron.

Charity is worrying how exhausted Debbie is coping, while Cameron also tries to offer his support. Debbie visits Chas in prison, putting on a poker face but consumed by fear. She questions Chas, who retorts with declaring her love for Cameron. Chas begins to feel guilty while Debbie assures her neither of them will ever be enough for Cameron. Afterwards, in Cain's comforting arms, Debbie breaks down in tears explaining that she still loves Cameron.

Cain is out for revenge and makes sure Cameron sees the full extent of his rage. Cameron visits a worn-down Chas and she questions his feelings for her, but he reassures her. After his visit, Cain spots him on his own and throws him a punch, knocking him unconscious...

Elsewhere, after a drunken night out with Amy, Val and Pollard are getting increasingly aggravated at Kerry's behaviour and decide she has to go. Amy's shocked and hurt when she discovers Alex got off with her mum. Amy takes Kerry to Dale View, offering it as her new home, but she throws a spanner in the works announcing that she will be staying with her mum.

Kerry tries to start fresh and get a job, but when Val gives her a less than becoming reference, called upon by Rishi, things go from bad to worse. Val and Pollard take some of her things to her new home, but they soon realise they have pushed Kerry further away.

Meanwhile, Paddy and Marlon continue to hide their friendship from Rhona and Laurel, though they are trying to drop hints and secure peace. Also, Nicola is beginning to lose faith about pursuading Jimmy to keep the business. He then receives a letter from the solicitor informing him of Carl's decision...
