Canadian indie rock group Arcade Fire are set to release new music in September of this year.

Revolt TV claims on September 9th a brand new track from the group will get released. The seven-member group are also putting the finishing touches to a new album, the follow-up to critically acclaimed The Suburbs (2010), but it is unclear whether that will follow this year.

LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy also commented about the record in an interview with The Daily Star, saying: "The album is going great. I'm too in the middle of it to know which way it will go in the end. But it's going to be a fantastic record." Murphy is helping to produce and collaborate with the band on the new album.
