Dirty by name, dirty by nature, the movie version of the MTV show 'Dirty Sanchez' is sure to gross you out more than a visit to the killing floor in your local slaughterhouse.

For those (fortunate souls) among you who remain uninitiated in all things 'Dirty Sanchez' (or its US counterpart 'Jackass'), all you need to know is that three Welsh guys and one Londoner met up through their love of extreme skateboarding. They soon became aware of their ability to push back the boundaries of taste by inflicting pain on each other and performing outrageously insane stunts. More often than not these stunts involve displaying their genitalia to the general public.

And now we have a spanking (literally) big movie version. As with 'Jackass', the idea of 'Dirty Sanchez: The Movie' was that they would be able to get away with more and be given an 18+ certificate.

The scant plot involves the quartet killing each other at the beginning and being sent to hell. The Devil offers them a bargaining chip - go back to Earth and commit the seven deadly sins and he will allow them to live on. Think of this as the antithesis to the old 'Bugs Bunny' cartoons where he was sent back to try and redeem himself in order to gain passage through the Pearly Gates.

And so they set off around the world doing some of the most disgusting acts of debauchery ever seen. To give an example of just a few: liposuction (and drinking of the removed fat); hitting a naked body with a paintball gun 103 times; piercing of the genitalia; guess/kiss the Thai ladyboy; cutting off the tip of a finger; tongue stapling; supergluing nostrils shut. It can get a bit much at times and, obviously, the squeamish would be well advised to steer well clear.

The crew themselves do not seem like the worst bunch and there are some good comedy moments when they're not performing the stunts but engaging in slagging matches of the sort we would associate with many teenage males. But then these guys are approaching middle age.

If you really want to see this movie then the least you can do is wait for it on DVD when there is likely to be more footage included that can be sectioned into a special features section to satisfy your questionable appetite even more. However, be warned, this individual came close to being reacquainted with his breakfast during a number of the sketches: this is gross-out on a level rarely seem on the big screen previously.

Be it a comment on modern culture or not, 'Dirty Sanchez: The Movie' is sad proof, yet again, that people can make millions without displaying any natural talent or skill.
