US TV hosts and funny men Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers paid tribute to comedy legend Robin Williams during their respective late night shows.
39-year-old Fallon fought tears as spoke about his great admiration for Williams and even hopped up from his desk to do an impression of the comic during one of his stand-up shows.
Describing Williams as the "Muhammad Ali of comedy" Fallon said: “You are never going to see anyone like this human being ever.
He then shared a clip of Williams’ first-ever appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Meanwhile Meyers recalled how he had been a fan of Williams from his early stand-up albums through films like Dead Poet’s Society and Good Will Hunting.
Speaking about the star's untimely passing Meyers added: “The saddest part of this is that Robin was battling depression.
“And if there is anything that we can do to honour his memory, I hope it would be to educate us more about this terrible affliction.”
