Better Call Saul executive producer Peter Gould has revealed that the Breaking Bad spin-off will play around with time – allowing for the return of the original show’s other characters, including Walter White.

Gould told The New York Daily News: “One of the great things about having a time line which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad.

"That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad."

Gould says that the show will "stand on its own," but having White return in any capacity would be an obvious bonus.

Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have already said they'd be interested in reprising their roles as White and Jesse Pinkman, with Cranston remarking "Never say never" when he was recently asked about reviving his character.
