Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will present Strictly Come Dancing with the exit of Bruce Forsyth.
Speaking to the Mirror, Claudia says she 'can't wait' to start her role in the competition. She describes herself as a natural people person and as someone who enjoys chatting and gossip.
'I love talking to people, I love gossip, so it's just perfect for me.'
Despite presenting for over twenty years, she says presenting Strictly Come Dancing is "so nerve racking" and she describes it as the "biggest job" she has ever had.
Speaking ahead of the programme, she said the combination of Claudia and Tess as a female presenting duo is very special. " I hope that it isn't all about Tess and I. I don't want people to be focusing on us too much, because it is about the dancers."
Bruce Forsyth has retired from the show. "Live television is very strenuous especially when some shows are an hour and forty minutes, " he says. "I was always getting the flu, I always got the flu in studios, they were so full of germs."
He hasn't quit television full time, as he will appear in solo projects in the future and he will be back doing the Strictly Specials at Christmas time.
