Dara O Briain, Russell Howard, Jason Byrne and Jason Manford are among the funny men in the line-up for the Vodafone Comedy Festival in July.

In total, 85 comedians will perform in front of an expected audience of 20,000 in four fully-seated, indoor theatres at the Iveagh Gardens, Dublin from Thursday July 24 to Sunday July 27. Tickets for the festival go on sale this Monday, June 16.

Also on the bill are South Africa’s Trevor Noah, New Zealand’s Rhys Darby, best known for playing hapless band manager Murray Hewitt in Flight of the Conchords, Canadian one-line specialist Stewart Francis, and his compatriots Bobby Mair and Katherine Ryan.

American acts include Chappelle’s Show co-creator Neal Brennan, Chelsea Lately panellist Jen Kirkman and the Pajama Men will also perform.
