The Grand Seduction, the new comedy starring Brendan Gleeson and Taylor Kitsch, is released on August 29, and it looks like we're set for some good fish-out-of-water laughs.

Directed by Don McKellar (Last Night) and written by Michael Dowse (Goon, FUBAR), The Grand Seduction is a remake of the French-Canadian film La Grande Séduction.

It tells the story of the residents of a Newfoundland fishing village who devise a plan to make disgraced big city doctor Paul Lewis (Kitsch) become their physician in a bid to win a factory contract.

Gleeson plays Murray, the unemployed fisherman spearheading the town's campaign.
