Eleanor McEvoy’s has released a new album, Stuff, following a six-week tour of Australia.

The Dublin singer launched the new album at The Jazz Cafe in London and included in her set was her slowed-down version of Chuck Berry’s Memphis Tennessee. She also sang new track, Milord, a tribute to singer Edith Piaf and writer Georges Moustaki.

McEvoy has been added to the bill for this year’s prestigious Aberjazz Jazz 'n Blues Festival, which takes places in Fishguard, Wales from August 21 to 25.

She will perform in Peppers at the West Wales Arts Centre on August 23. Due to its proximity to Wexford, the 11th Fishguard Jazz and Blues Festival is a popular draw for Irish music fans in the South-East.

The international line-up for Aberjazz also includes, Jacqui Dankworth, daughter of the Johnny Dankworth-Cleo Lane jazz dynasty.
