O Emperor and Dylan Tighe are among the Irish acts involved in There Is A Light, a new Irish album which is being launched as part of the Green Ribbon campaign to get people talking about mental health.
Si Schroeder, Windings, Crayonsmith and The Ambience Affair are also among the 20 acts contributing to the new album which will be launched with a gig at Dublin venue Whelan's on May 29.
Proceeds will go to First Fortnight as part of the Green Ribbon Campaign.
Other acts featured on There Is A Light, which is released by Bluestack Records for First Fortnight, Ireland’s mental health arts festival, include The Altered Hours, Sacred Animals, Hidden Highways, The Casanova Wave and Winter Aid.
Throughout May many local and national events will take place as part of Green Ribbon campaign, led by 90 partner organisations, with hundreds of volunteers lending their services.
50 campaign ambassadors with experience of mental health problems are sharing their own stories to help others throughout the campaign.
