Frozen star Josh Gad will reunite with Disney - this time for for a live-action film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter the 33-year-old actor has signed-up to write a science fiction family comedy for Disney with his partner Ryan Dixon.

The project is very much under wraps and a plot description for the movie is currently being kept confidential by Disney.

Gad provided the voice of Olaf the snowman in Frozen and Disney recently denied that a sequel is in the works, despite the fact that it's the highest-grossing animated movie in cinema history.

Gad and Dixon have also been working on the sequel to Twins, a huge hit comedy in the 1980s for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.
