Good news for soap fans, the Corrie musical Street of Dreams may be making a coming back.

The musical, which starred Paul O’Grady, was cancelled in 2012 after just two days due to financial issues but now the rights owners are keen to bring it back.

The Stage reports that Chantrey Vellacott DFK is hoping to revive Street of Dreams, and are looking for "expressions of interest from parties interested in promoting and putting on a musical from the original concept of Street of Dreams".

The companies Adrian Hyde added: "The Coronation Street brand remains hugely popular and the show itself was a big seller, despite its problems.

"We are hopeful that with a fresh approach from an experienced operator the show could achieve the success that the creators had hoped.”
