He stole the show in Prometheus and it looks likely that Michael Fassbender will feature as multiple versions of android David in Ridlley Scott's follow-up.

According to film website The Wrap, screenwriter Michael Green is working on a storyline which features several different versions of David. Green is also working on the script for a proposed Blade Runner sequel.

A source told The Wrap that Green wants to recapture the style of the original Alien from 1979, following poor reviews for 2012's Prometheus.

Prometheus starred Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Fassbender and Idris Elba, as the crew of a spaceship sent to investigate a distant planet where the answers to mankind's origins may lie hidden.

The Wrap suggests the sequel will continue with Rapace's God-fearing archaeologist accompanying David on a mission to find the home of the Engineers, a mysterious alien race with a genetic link to homo sapiens.
