Dublin blues rockers The Hot Sprockets have announced a new single, a new album, and a date at Dublin’s Button Factory.

The banjo-toting fivepiece, who have scored hits with Soul Brother and Comin' On, release Homeslice on March with a video directed by Dublin actor/director Hugh O'Conor who stars in upcoming Irish comedy The Stag which is released on March 7.

O'Conor also won an Irish Times theatre award for best supporting actor last Sunday night for his portrayal of The Fool in King Lear at the Abbey.

The mellow-sounding Homeslice is taken from The Hot Sprocket’s second album Brother Nature, which is due out in May. The band launch the new album on June 7 with a headline gig at Dublin's Button Factory.
