American Hustle star Jennifer Lawrence is going to take a year's break from acting.
The 23-year-old Oscar nominee is said to be planning to take a well earned "rest" after making eight films in the past 12 months.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, Harvey Weinstein who worked with Lawrence on Silver Linings Playbook, said: "She's going to have a long break for a year where she won't do anything. It's been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest."
The 61-year-old producer also defended Jennifer's decision to not attend the BAFTAs ceremony, despite receiving an award for her role in American Hustle.
He added: "Jennifer is too nice and will do people favours and agrees to do a movie like American Hustle when she could have had a rest. She signed on to do Hunger Games when she was young and wouldn't have realised how much it would dominate her life. But she's a professional and always will be."
