Actor Leonardo DiCaprio feels lucky to have been able to team-up with director Martin Scorsese on more than one movie.
The 39-year-old star, who was nominated for best actor at the BAFTAs last night (16.02.14) for his role as Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street, admits he feels privileged to have worked with the 71-year-old filmmaker on more than one occasion.
Speaking to E! on the red carpet at London's Royal Opera House, DiCaprio said: ''The truth is I was lucky enough to do one film with him and five is beyond my wildest dreams. He really has the finger on the pulse of our culture and he says something about humanity with his film-making.''
He added: ''I don't predict any of these things and have no idea what's going to happen, but to be here with a film like this that takes a lot of chances is an amazing feeling. This is really the second film in my career I got behind and did everything to get made.''
DiCaprio previously worked with Scorsese on The Gangs of New York followed by The Aviator, The Departed and Shutter Island.
