Taylor Swift launched the UK leg of her RED tour last night and was joined on stage by a surprise, and uninvited, guest.

We’re not talking about Ed Sheeran, who did surprise fans by joining the I Knew You Were Trouble singer on stage in London’s O2 Arena, for a version of his hit, Lego House.

However during the show’s finale of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together a male fan invaded the stage and the cheeky lad went on to not only approach Swift but to hand her a note before security arrived.

It must have been a very surreal, if not spooky, experience for the singer.

However she didn’t seem too upset because her focus was on the show and Sheeran’s guest appearance when she tweeted later that evening: "First night in London and @edsheeran came out to surprise the crowd with 'Lego House'. Earth-shattering screams ensued. What a lad. #redtour"
