In the first 'Blind Auditions' of the new series of The Voice of Ireland on RTÉ One on Sunday night, seven singers were chosen by the coaches for the 'Battles' stages of the show.

New coach Dolores O'Riordan has three singers on her team, Kian Egan has two and Bressie and Jamelia have one each.

Thomas Kinney, Kellie Lewis and Seán Sunderland are now part of Team Dolores.

Jay Boland and Danica Holland are the first singers to join Team Kian.

Gavin Murray has joined Team Jamelia, while Caoin Fitzpatrick is part of Team Bressie.

The Blind Auditions will continue until Sunday February 9, with the Battles beginning on Sunday February 16.
