Members of TV on the Radio and The Vaccines are among the acts who will play at tribute concert for late rock icon Lou Reed tomorrow in New York.

According to the Brooklyn Vegan blog, the concert, titled Last Great American Whale: A Concert in Memory of Lou Reed, will take place tomorrow (November 24) at Manhattan's Bowery Electric.

Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio, the Vaccines frontman Justin Hayward-Young, Patti Smith Band guitarist Lenny Kaye and no-wave artist Arto Lindsay are set to play the show.

Soul rock act Hollis Brown will play the Velvet Underground's Loaded album from start to finish.

Profits will go to the Ali Forney Center, an LGBT outreach organization for homelessness in Manhattan.

Reed passed away last month aged 71 from liver disease.
