It's already been sung by The Pogues, Luke Kelly and U2 and now Justin Timberlake has tackled Dominic Behan's ageless ballad The Auld Triangle as part of his performance in upcoming Coen Brothers' movie Inside Llewyn Davis.
The Coens have returned to a musical theme for the movie which also stars John Goodman and Carey Mulligan. Set in Greenwich Village in 1961, the film stars Drive and Robin Hood actor Oscar Issac as a young folk singer struggling to make it big.
Timberlake plays fellow folkie Jim Berkey in the movie which is released in January 2014. The soundtrack includes Bob Dylan, Chris Thile, Dave Van Ronk, and Mulligan's husband Marcus Mumford.
