Anthemic Dingle rockers Walking on Cars are playing an all ages matinee show in Dublin’s Academy on Sunday, December 8th and RTÉ Ten is running a "bring your kid to their first gig" competition.

The band, who scored a hit with Two Stones, have sold out two headline shows at The Academy in December but this all-ages afternoon gig could be your little darling’s rock 'n' roll baptism.

The fivepiece, from the Dingle Peninsula, are made up of singer Patrick Sheehy, guitarists Sorcha Durham and Dan Devane, bassist Paul Flannery, and drummer Evan Hadnett.

They've released their debut EP As We Fly South and made apearances on The Late Late Show, Other Voices IMRO Other Room, and played Comic Relief Does Dublin in Vicar Street.
