It’s been reported that Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri Martino are collaborating on an comedy pilot for American broadcasters NBC.
According to Zap2It, Sarandon and Martino, who is also an actress, are working on a project entitled Growing Ivy, with both mother and daughter playing major roles.
Martino will star in the lead as Ivy Davis, a woman who puts her career before her personal life, while Sarandon will portray her free-spirited mother Frankie.
The premise of the show revolves around the two very different women living together as Ivy tries to navigate work and her relationship with her mother.
If the show is picked up, it will mark Sarandon's first major TV role as the former Thelma & Louise star had previously only appeared as a guest in shows such as The Big C and Mike & Molly.
