Jon Bon Jovi made it a day to remember for one of his fans when he walked her down the aisle at her Las Vegas wedding ceremony over the weekend.

Australian native Branka Delic began an international campaign earlier this year inviting the 51-year-old rocker to her wedding by placing an ad in her local paper, the Hornsby Advocate. She also launched a Facebook page called Bon Jovi, Walk Me Down the Aisle?

Her plea travelled across the world, and soon caught the attention of her idol, who also happened to be in Las Vegas for a show at the MGM Hotel over the weekend.

In true celebrity style, Bon Jovi sent a limousine to pick up the blushing bride and then met her outside the Graceland Wedding Chapel, where his first words where, "So are we going to do this?" reports the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

Branka told the paper: "There were all these other brides there and you should have seen the looks on their faces... I didn't cry because I didn't want to ruin my make-up and look awful.

"You hear about famous people being stuck up but he was just divine."

After the ceremony she tweeted: "@BonJovi you did more than make my dream come true, you changed my life forever! An amazing man with an amazing generous heart."

Bon Jovi responded: "Congratulations @branksd! May you & Gonzalo have a lifetime of happiness, love & memories together - Always!"
