Sandra Bullock has ruled out starring in a sequel to The Heat, because past sequels she's featured in "were horrible."

The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress, who starred in the cop comedy alongside Melissa McCarthy, revealed she won't do a sequel because past follow-ups she's starred in, Speed 2: Cruise Control and Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, were not fun to make.

Speaking to The Wrap, Bullock said: ''I'm not doing a sequel to The Heat. I've done two sequels. They were horrible. What Melissa and I had was beautiful. We might do another film together. I think we should do a silent film together.''

Bullock can next be seen in Gravity alongside George Clooney.
