Daniel Radcliffe has announced he will take a break from acting this year due to exhaustion.
Radcliffe told the Daily Star his plans to take some time out when he was promoting the second season of his Sky Arts television show Young Doctor’s Notebook.
He has just finished working on The Cripple of Inishmaan in London’s West End and has been kept very busy with film commitments.
Radcliffe said, “I do need a break, doing Cripple was amazing but the last month was slightly exhausting. I’ve got three weeks off in October and I’m going to bum around New York and see some shows.
“I need some proper down time, I do need time off but the truth is I’m a workaholic.”
The actor has been taking on some serious roles since the end of the Harry Potter franchise, “I’m glad to be slowly but surely leaving my Harry Potter days behind. It’s a long process but I’m getting there.”
Radcliffe can be seen in upcoming films Kill Your Darlings and Horns.
