LeAnn Rimes was forced to cancel her gig in Dublin's Vicar Street last night (September 12) after she was admitted to a hospital emergency room.
The country music star had been battling illness for the past few weeks, but a lingering cough forced her to seek medical help.
Rimes wrote on Twitter: "Never thought I'd see the Er in Dublin. I have coughed myself into pain. The spasm is intense. Being human sucks sometimes... I'm coughing and injured myself. I'm feeling better otherwise."
The singer added: "Thank you to all my fantastic, understanding, loving fans here in Ireland."
A press release from Aiken Promotion apologised for the cancellation of her gig, stating: "LeAnn Rimes regrets to announce that due to illness tonight’s performance at Vicar Street has been cancelled. She would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
