The Late David Turpin will launch his new album at the Dublin Fringe Festival.

Following his sold-out Fringe debut in 2012, The Late David Turpin rises again for a one-off theatrical concert at Smock Alley Theatre on September 15 to launch his new album, We Belong Dead.

The album will be released two days earlier and is the culmination of three years of recording, and is Turpin's first release since his name change (which was prompted by a real near-death experience).

Turpin, whose 2012 performance saw him nominated for the Best Male Performer gong at the Festival Awards, will be joined by a chamber choir for what's promised to be "an intricate and otherworldly musical performance".
