Angelina Jolie will receive a second Academy Award next year for her humanitarian work.

Four honorary awards will be presented at the 96th Academy Awards in February 2014 with the three other awards going to Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin and Piero Tosi.

Speaking about the awards, Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs said: "The Governors Awards pay tribute to individuals who've made indelible contributions in their respective fields.

"We couldn't be more excited for this year's honorees and look forward to bringing their peers and colleagues together to celebrate their extraordinary achievements."

Jolie, who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2000 for her role in Girl, Interrupted will collect the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her work with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
