Sigourney Weaver is set to re-team with director Ridley Scott for Exodus.

The actress, who launched her film career in Scott's 1979 sci-fi classic Alien, has signed on to play Tuya, mother of Ramses (Joel Edgerton) in the forthcoming epic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Christian Bale will play Moses in the big-screen biblical adaptation, which is set to begin shooting in September in Spain, Morocco and England.

In other Exodus casting news, Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul is in talks to play a supporting role as a Hebrew slave, while John Tuturro has signed on to play the husband of Weaver's character.
