Singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis Bextor has reportedly signed a deal to join the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The If This Ain't Love singer is said to have agreed a fee of £25,000 to appear as a contestant on the BBC dance show, according to The Sun.
Her husband, Richard Jones of the band The Feeling, and her mother Janet Ellis, were reportedly eager for her to take part in the show.
Bextor's next album, Wanderlust, is due out later this autumn and it is thought she sees this as the perfect opportunity to promote it.
It was reported on Tuesday that Abbey Clancy is also set to join the Strictly line-up this year, while Teri Hatcher and Hairy Bikers cook Dave Myers have also been linked with the show.
