George Clooney and his producing partner Grant Heslov are planning to make Coronado High which will be a movie adaptation of an upcoming article by Joshuah Bearman, according to a report.

Bearman is the journalist whose article for Wired magazine served as the basis for the recent Best Picture Oscar-winner, Argo, which was produced by Clooney and Heslov along with director Ben Affleck.

The Wrap says that Sony Pictures is in talks to acquire and develop the artcile as a potential directing opportunity for Clooney but representatives for Clooney and Bearman did not comment on the reports.

Bearman’s article has not yet been published but it concerns a group of teens who are used to smuggle drugs in Coronado which is an affluent resort near San Diego.

Clooney and Heslov are producers on John Wells’ adaptation of August: Osage County which opens later this year.
