Harry Potter star Tom Felton has been cast in a new World War II drama Ghosts of the Pacific.

The actor joins Garret Dillahunt (Raising Hope) and Jack Abel (The Host) in the film, which recounts the true story of three Naval men lost at sea.

The drama unfolds as pilot (Dillahunt), bombardier (Felton) and radioman (Abel) are forced to ditch their plane and brave the ocean on a small raft with no water, food or supplies after a scouting mission in January 1942.

Ghosts of the Pacific will mark Brian Falk's directorial debut while The American Film Company will produce.

Felton recently completed filming on Therese Raquin, in which he plays Therese's (Elizabeth Olsen) husband.
