French funksters Daft Punk will launch their new album Random Access Memories at a small agricultural show in Australia.

The duo will unveil the highly-anticipated LP on May 17th at the annual Wee Waa Show in rural Wee Waa, New South Wales - an area with a population of approximately 2000.

Pitchfork reports that the event will host a playback of the album on a "purpose-built stage".

Daft Punk are said to have been attracted to the show because of the "CSIRO Australia Telescope and its array of satellite dishes."

4,000 tickets for the event go on sale on the Crossing Theatre website from Friday, April 12th.
