Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are set to star alongside each other in a forthcoming Broadway show.

The notoriously private couple are set to appear in a revival of Harold Pinter's famous 1978 play Betrayal, which charts an extramarital affair in reverse.

Weisz will play Emma, who is married to Robert (Craig), but having a long-term affair with Jerry, played by rising star Rafe Spall.

The production marks the actress's Broadway debut and will be directed by Mike Nicholas, reports The Guardian.

Bond star Craig previously starred in the Broadway production A Steady Rain opposite Hugh Jackman in 2009.

Betrayal is set to open at New York's Barrymore Theatre on November 3, with previews from October 1.
