Liam Neeson is in talks to join the cast for Seth MacFarlane’s follow-up to Ted, A Million Ways to Die in the West.

The Hollywood Reporter says Charlize Theron and Amanda Seyfried have already signed up to star in the comedy Western. MacFarlane has written the script with Alex Sulkin and Wellesley Wild (Ted, Family Guy) and the film is set to start shooting in May.

It tells the story of a cowardly sheep farmer who runs away from a gunfight and loses his girlfried. Then a mysterious woman rides in to town who helps him find his courage.

Neeson is in talks to play the husband of the mystery woman played by Theron.
