Legendary rocker Slash has tweeted his thoughts so far on his trip to Dublin.

The former Guns N' Roses lead guitarist is due to play Dublin's Olympia Theatre tonight and tomorrow night, alongside Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.

He started off his musings with: 'Rory Gallagher would have been 65 today; Happy Birthday Rory! Fitting time to be in Ireland', adding that a friend had given him the November 2012 issue of Classic Rock magazine with Gallagher on the cover.

'Just passed a store named Knobs & Knockers' he posted a while later. 'If my wife & I are ever in need of door accessories, that's our store'.

The guitarist later added: 'Haha! I'm assuming its a door place, maybe it's not?'

In other celebrity sightings, Charlie Sheen has also been documenting his (unrelated) trip to Dublin. Posting pictures and updates since landing yesterday.
