The Inbetweeners star James Buckley is to become a father for the second time.

The Sun reports that the actor, who plays Jay in the E4 comedy, has revealed that his wife Clair Meek is due to give birth in mid-August.

The 25-year-old said: "I'm excited and happy, everything is in working order.

"Not sure what we're having yet - a daddy's little princess would be great. Another boy would mean I'm half way to creating the new cast of The Inbetweeners."

He married Meek in a Scottish ceremony last November and they already have a child together. Their son Harrison was born in October 2011.

Buckley starred in The Inbetweeners from 2008 to 2010 before appearing in a big screen version in 2011. There have been numerous reports that the cast will return for a movie sequel.
