Ant and Dec say they’d like another go at bringing their cheeky chappy act to America after the failure of their US debut Wanna Bet? five years ago.

The TV double act, who already host Britain's Got Talent, I'm a Celebrity and Saturday Night Takeaway, added that they don’t believe they got enough support from American network ABC when they last worked abroad.

Wanna Bet? was cancelled after one season following very poor ratings.

Speaking to the Radio Times, they said: "We probably will try our luck in America again. It never really worked because the network didn't get behind us; it would need to be the right show. I think we've got one big push left in us and we'd have to make sure it's worth it.

"If it happens, it happens, but because everything is going so well over here, we're not dying to break America."

Ant and Dec are also currently working on a silent comedy sitcom project, their first acting work since their hit-and-miss 2006 movie Alien Autopsy.
