Emeli Sandé says that she's too busy to commence work on her second studio album.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Sandé, who received a British Album nod at this year's Brit Awards, said: "The Brit nominations are amazing and for so many people to have bought my album and connected; that really blows me away."

The 25-year-old singer added: "But I haven't had time to think about the next one. I'm storing everything in a book and I'm hoping, come April, when the tour ends, I can work on the next project."

Sande has also been asked by Sir Elton John to perform at his annual Oscars party.

Sir Elton’s gala is the largest fundraising event in Hollywood on Oscar night and has raised more than £20 million so far for people infected, affected or at risk from HIV/AIDS.
