Irish comic and presenter Dara Ó Briain, singer Mel C, comic Jack Dee and actress Chelsee Healey are among the celebrities who have completed a Zambezi river challenge for Comic Relief.
The Press Association reports that the team, which also included athlete Phillips Idowu and DJ Greg James, spent five days travelling down the river as part of the BT Red Nose Challenge: Hell and High Water and completed the final part on Friday afternoon.
The final stages involved descending a 200ft gorge on a ladder, known locally as "the steps of doom", and the biggest rapids of the journey.
Writing on Twitter after completing the challenge, O Briain said: "Huge thanks to everyone who supported and donated the Zambesi challenge. [sic]
"Finished this afternoon after a hairy day on the rapids. Exhausted."
The challenge aims to raise £1m to help educate children in Zambia.
