Take That star Gary Barlow has decided to shut down his music label, Future Records.

The 41-year-old singer and X-Factor head judge admitted that he decided to call it a day with his label in order to spend more time with his family.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the Patience singer said: “It’s been a very difficult decision but it came down to time. I’ve had a lot going on recently and I want to spend more time with my family."

The artists signed up to Future Records are to move to its parent company, Universal.
